# ElfBuckz

"ElfBuckz" is our "in-store credits" system, originally used for daily app subscriptions. These days it covers two things: account refunds and credits, and paying for your subscriptions with Bitcoin, which saves you 10%.

## ElfBuckz Balance / Topup

To see your ElfBuckz balance and top it up, visit your [account funds page](<https://store.elfhosted.com/my-account/account-funds/>).

If the top-up on that page doesn't work for you, there's a fallback [ElfBuckz Topup product](<https://store.elfhosted.com/product/elfbuckz-topup/>). It's priced at $1, so set the quantity to the number of dollars you want. Buy it on its own rather than alongside a subscription you intend to pay for in ElfBuckz, since the balance only lands once that order goes through.

## Save 10% by topping up with Bitcoin

The 10% comes off the top-up itself, so a balance bought with Bitcoin costs you 10% less than its face value. You then spend that balance on subscriptions at face value, in the usual way, which is how the saving reaches whatever you're running.

## Spending ElfBuckz

Simply use ElfBuckz as your payment gateway when buying app subscriptions, or use your balance as a part-payment when using a regular payment gateway.
