TorBox Stremio addon: how to add TorBox to Stremio
TorBox does not publish a Stremio addon, and there isn't one to search for in Stremio's catalogue. You add TorBox by installing an addon that supports it and giving that addon your TorBox API key.

What connects TorBox to Stremio
Stremio itself doesn't know what TorBox is. It asks its installed addons for streams, and an addon that supports TorBox will check your TorBox account before answering.
So there are three things involved:
- TorBox, holding your account and its cache.
- An addon that knows how to ask TorBox what it has.
- Stremio, which installs that addon and plays what comes back.
The API key is what joins the first two. The install link joins the second and third.
Adding TorBox to Stremio
1. Get your TorBox API key
It is in your account settings on the TorBox website. It is a long string that identifies your account.
Treat it as a password. Anything holding that key can use your TorBox account, so think before pasting it into a public instance run by somebody you don't know.
Open the addon's configure page. Somewhere in it you'll find a list of supported services with TorBox among them. Select TorBox and paste your key.
Most addons let you set filters here too: resolution, language, which sources to query, how results are sorted. You can skip all of that and change it later.
3. Install it in Stremio
The configure page produces an install link. Open it and Stremio asks whether you want to install the addon. Confirm, then search for something.
TorBox results should appear in the stream list, usually labelled with the resolution and whether TorBox already holds the file.
Which addon to pick
All three below support TorBox. They differ in how much they do for you.

Where the addon runs
This part surprises people, so it is worth being plain about it.
An addon is a small service that has to run somewhere. You have three choices, and they change how well it works rather than what it does.
A free public instance is the fastest way to try it. Somebody else runs it and everybody shares it, so it carries rate limits and can be busy at peak times. Fine for finding out whether you like the setup.
Your own, run by you. No sharing, no limits but your own, and you look after updates and uptime.
Your own, run for you. Same isolation without the maintenance.
If you are going to use this daily, the shared option is usually the one people outgrow first, and rate limits are the reason.
When TorBox results don't appear
Nothing at all in the stream list. Usually the key. Re-copy it from TorBox and re-configure, since a truncated paste fails silently.
Results appear but won't play. Often the file isn't cached in TorBox yet, which is a property of the service and not the addon.
It worked and then stopped. On a shared public instance this is normally the rate limit rather than anything you changed.
Fewer results than you expected. Your filters. Resolution and language filters cut hard, especially combined.
