Debridge on ElfHosted

Debridge aggregates your own content providers. It takes the debrid and Usenet accounts you already have, finds the best result across them, and delivers it to you.

The more providers you connect, the more caches and routes Debridge can try, and the fewer single-provider dead ends you hit.

What is Debridge?

Debridge is not a debrid service, and it is not something you sign up for elsewhere the way you would with Real-Debrid or TorBox. It works with the provider accounts you already have: it checks them, picks the best result, and delivers it. It runs inside ElfHosted, and you reach it through your ElfHosted products:

  • Supported Stremio addons, where Debridge appears as a service in the addon's settings
  • Personal media stacks from Hobbit upwards, using Balrog for Radarr / Sonarr workflows
  • Existing compatible personal media stacks with Balrog added

Your Debridge dashboard

Debridge has its own dashboard at debridge.elfhosted.com. Log in with your ElfHosted single sign-on (the same account you use everywhere else on ElfHosted, no separate password to set up).

The dashboard is where you can see how Debridge is performing for you:

  • Recent activity: which titles you've streamed or fetched, and how each one resolved
  • Provider health and usage: the state of each debrid and Usenet provider behind your account, so you can spot a provider having a bad day
  • Your plan: including your concurrent-stream limit
  • Your Debridge API key: this is where you find and copy it, for pasting into Balrog or a Prowlarr Torznab indexer

If a stream misbehaves, the dashboard is the first place to look. It usually shows whether the content, a provider, or your plan was the cause, before you open a support ticket.

Debridge-bundled products

Debridge can be included with:

  • Debridge-bundled Stremio addons, where available
  • Hobbit, Ranger, Halfling, and Nazgul personal media stack Debridge variations
  • Balrog standalone for compatible existing ElfHosted personal media stacks

If a product page does not say Debridge is included, assume it is not included. This is boring, but cheaper than disappointment.

Your providers

Debridge only works with providers you connect. Add your Real-Debrid, TorBox, AllDebrid, Premiumize, or other supported provider keys, and your Usenet providers, on your Debridge dashboard. Debridge then picks between them based on cache availability, provider limits, routing, and provider health.

TorBox can be used directly as a standalone provider, or as one of the provider keys inside Debridge where supported. Same provider, different role.

Debridge + Stremio addons

For Stremio, supported hosted addons list Debridge as a service. The addons find the releases; Debridge picks the best of your providers for each one and delivers it. Balrog is not involved.

Typical flow:

  1. Subscribe to a Debridge-bundled addon.
  2. Open the addon's /configure page from your ElfHosted dashboard.
  3. Paste your Debridge API key into the addon's Debridge setting.
  4. Install the addon into Stremio.
  5. Search in Stremio and play a cached result.

Debridge + Plex / Jellyfin / Emby via Balrog

For a full media-server library, Debridge is paired with Balrog. Balrog is the downloader layer for Arr-based workflows:

Balrog gives Radarr and Sonarr a qBittorrent-compatible target, then routes cached results through Debridge into the ElfHosted symlink workflow.

Debridge vs Decypharr vs CatBox

For personal media stacks, these are the three debrid-side patterns:

Balrog is not a clone of Decypharr or CatBox. It is the Debridge integration layer, built after we learned from both.

The third lane: Usenet with NzbDAV

Debrid is not the only sane path for personal media stacks.

NzbDAV is the mature non-debrid Usenet lane. Serious personal media stack users are often best served by combining both:

  • a torrent/debrid lane for cached torrent availability
  • a Usenet/NzbDAV lane for mature non-debrid coverage

Two different supply chains, two different failure modes, fewer single-provider dead ends. Horribly practical, which is rude but useful.

Does every ElfHosted subscription include Debridge?

No. Debridge is included only where the product page says it is.

Do I need a separate Debridge account?

No. There is no separate Debridge signup: you sign in to the Debridge dashboard with your ElfHosted login.

Is Debridge a debrid service?

No. Debridge aggregates your own debrid and Usenet providers. Add your provider keys for Real-Debrid, TorBox, AllDebrid, Premiumize, or another supported provider on your Debridge dashboard.

Is Debridge production-ready?

Debridge and Balrog are being rolled out carefully. Expect limited stock and gradual scaling while the platform gets real-user load.
